Hakuba International Music Festival
The Hakuba International Music Festival is a chamber music event held by worldwide famous musicians, including members of the Saito Kinen Orchestra, first-deck players of the Wiener Chamber Orchestra and the concertmaster of the Lyon National Orchestra. Concerts are given every summer at the Laforet Hakuba Museum of Art’s concert hall.
After each performance, a get-together is held at the museum’s courtyard to encourage audience to have chats with musicians.
In an effort to contribute to the development of local cultures, Kyowa Shipping has been participating in the festival since its inauguration.
